Article 9 I Believe in the Holy Spirit
“The Holy Spirit reconciles two truths about God: 1) God is high and holy, dwelling in unapproachable light. 2) God has revealed himself to us in tenderness and compassion.”1
“The Trinity is also important because it reveals that God’s very nature is relational. God has eternal relationships within himself. The Puritans used to say that ‘God in Himself is a sweet society.’”2
