This lesson will begin the second section of our study, with the focus being on Christian ethics. The section will be in two parts, the first of which based on the Ten Commandments.
To prepare for the January 14 class, please read the section introduction of the text book (pages 185-188) and the lesson on Commandment 1: You Shall Have No Other Gods Before Me. The scripture can be found in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5. Read also the teaching of Jesus in Matthew 22:36-40 and the foundational text of Deuteronomy 6:4-9.
