The lesson for this week begins the fifth section of our Foundations study, and will over two chapters: Holiness and the Attributes of God, and God’s Holy Revelation of Himself. The time in class will involve reflection on how we understand the attributes of God, including holiness and others. We will then move to reflect on the creation of humankind “in God’s image” and the choice of rebellion that led us astray.

To prepare you might spend a few minutes (without peeking at your text) making a list of God’s attributes off the top of your head. Also you are invited to read and reflect on the following passages:
Exodus 34:1-7;
Psalm 19
Psalm 90:1-12
Psalm 139
Psalm 147:5 and Romans 11:33-36
John 8:39-44
