Thank you for being part of the journey through these writings. The Forty Words of Lent are coming to an end in the mid part of Holy Week. These blog posts were my discipline for Lent this year, and therefore were primarily done as a way for me to draw more near to God. The exercise has been joyful and meaningful to me, and as only God can do, it appears that a few others have been blessed as well.
To that end I am inviting you to share your thoughts. A few people have asked if I intend to continue these writings after Easter. Truthfully I had not given it much consideration. If I continue, what topics would be of interest? What frequency would be good? Once a week feels too little, and every day seems like it might be too much for me to keep up. Your input will be helpful as I listen for the Holy Spirit speaking through my friends. Comments here are welcome. A personal word on a Sunday morning works just as well.
Thank you in advance for your input. In all things, to God be the glory!
Every blessing,
Pastor Dave

I always appreciate your writings. They always speak to me whether it’s something Ive never pondered before or if it’s something that coincidentally had been on my mind (I still don’t know how you do that!). I will continue reading them however often you write. With all of your other responsibilities, I’d say just write when the Spirit moves you.

Thank you Sherri. I don’t know how God does a lot of things! At some point I may stop trying to figure it out :-). You thoughts and encouragement are appreciated.

Thank you for your Lenton offering. Yes, it certainly blessed me. I would like to read your blog/message/notes EVERY day. My morning devotionals are so encouraging to me. (Heb 3:13)
